Overview
Acelia ("we," "our," or "us") is an AI-powered text message assistant operated by Naglapur Media LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use Acelia at acelia.io or through our SMS service.
By signing up for Acelia, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Contact information: Your first and last name and mobile phone number, provided at sign-up.
- Task and goal data: Information you share with Acelia via SMS, including tasks, reminders, goals, and any other content you send through the assistant.
- Payment confirmation: We do not collect or store your payment card information directly. Payments are processed by Stripe via a secure hosted payment link sent to you via SMS. Stripe may collect your billing details in accordance with their own Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy. We receive only confirmation of payment and a Stripe customer ID.
- Usage data: Message timestamps, interaction patterns, and technical metadata generated through your use of the service.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide and improve the Acelia service:
- To send you AI-generated SMS responses, reminders, and task updates you have requested
- To personalize your assistant experience based on your goals and preferences
- To process payments and manage your account
- To diagnose technical issues and improve service reliability
- To comply with applicable laws and regulations
SMS Messaging
Acelia communicates with you via SMS using phone numbers registered through Twilio. By providing your phone number and signing up, you expressly consent to receive text messages from Acelia, including AI-generated responses, reminders, and notifications.
- Message frequency varies based on your usage and configured preferences.
- Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
- Reply HELP for support information.
- After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.
Data Sharing and Third Parties
We work with a limited set of trusted service providers to operate Acelia. These providers only access your data as necessary to perform their specific function:
- Twilio: SMS delivery infrastructure
- Stripe: Payment processing
- Anthropic / OpenAI: AI model providers that process message content to generate responses
Each provider is contractually bound to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify. We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you cancel your account or request deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.
Message content you have sent to Acelia may be retained for up to 90 days to maintain conversation context, after which it is automatically purged.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we do our best to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP
- Lodge a complaint with a relevant data protection authority

Children's Privacy
Acelia is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you via SMS or email. Continued use of Acelia after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
